SSC-DFL International Photo Contest 2006 (For a larger viewing area, in Internet Explorer press the F11 key; press it again to restore)

The following pictures were submitted by faculty, staff and students of Salem State College for the 2006 Department of Foreign Languages International Photo Contest in the Spring 2006. (Go here for last year's photos.) The Department of Foreign Languages has selected 12 winning pictures, those with the caption in red, to appear in an August 2006 to July 2007 paper calendar. The paper calendar will cost only $7 and the proceeds will be used to fund the Department of Foreign Languages' HOPE award. If you're interested in purchasing the paper calendar, please go to this page to pre-order the calendar, so we know how many to order from the printshop. You may download a free screensaver containing all these pictures. Download the executable file which will install the screensaver: photo_contest_2006.exe (right-click on the link, select Save as and save it to your Desktop for example. Then you can run the file).
