This site was fist created as part of a project for the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association (MaFLA) to help Spanish teachers with the topic of using Spanish language songs in the classroom.
A workshop was presented at the annual meeting of MaFLA in October 2011 on this topic. See it here. You can also look at a work in progress from which the presentation was made (comments welcome).
